the story behind the story

that's me

I’m an editorial strategist, writer, and content leader with 10+ years of writing and editing experience and nearly six years in B2B SaaS. My background is a little unusual for a content marketer: I have an MFA in Creative Writing, which means I spent years thinking about story, voice, structure, audience, and exactly what makes people lean in. Plus, it means I’ve gotten some pretty sweet writing gigs, like being the artist in residence at Acadia National Park.

I now bring that instinct to B2B SaaS teams who are asking some hefty questions: What should we say? Why should anyone care? Where should it live? And what should happen because we said it?

As a senior content manager, I’ve lead editorial strategy for research- and product-driven content, partnering with researchers, product teams, marketers, campaign teams, and executives to turn complex ideas into compelling stories.

Oh, and those stories have a dollar sign attached.

I developed a gated content strategy that generated $4.3M in pipeline in 2025. And I shaped Panorama’s State of Chronic Absenteeism research into a broader content ecosystem that generated $366K in pipeline and contributed to national media coverage featuring Panorama’s CEO on NBC News.

My work spans research reports, long-form editorial, executive thought leadership, product marketing, and web. I also manage freelance and agency writers, develop editorial standards and brand voice, and build systems that make good content easier to produce.

And increasingly, that means thinking beyond traditional search. I work across SEO, AEO, and GEO, exploring how authoritative content gets discovered as search changes and AI becomes part of the journey. An AI-native, I’m constantly thinking about how AI skills and agents can streamline the necessary—if not so glamorous—parts of content strategy, so I can lean into storytelling that’s meaningful.
